Located in Chester County, Okehocking Park is a wildlife park that spans 930 acres. The preserve is located in the Okehocking Hills, a series of low hills along the county’s eastern border. Visitors can go hiking, horseback riding, or picnicking in the preserve.

In 1974, commissioners in Chester County created the Okehocking Preserve. Okehocking Creek, which traverses the preserve, inspires the park’s name. This creek flows into Brandywine Creek and is a feeder stream to the Delaware River.

How to get there?

If you’re coming from Philadelphia, the easiest route to get there is to take I-95 south to Concord Road in Chester Township. Take I-95 South to Exit 7. Carry on down Concord Road. Travel to Willistown Township’s Horseshoe Trail.

From West Chester, travel west on PA-3 and west on PA-352 to reach Strasburg Rd in Westtown Twp.

From US-202 N/US-322 W/PA 3 W/PA 352 W, take the exit towards PA-926/W Chester Pike/PA-52. Proceed down Strasburg Road. You can reach your location in Willistown Township via Boot Rd. On the right, you’ll find Okehocking Preserve.
